Ingredients

  • 100 grams Cornflakes
  • 200 grams Milk chocolate
  • 50 grams Unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons Golden syrup
  • 20 grams Sprinkles (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Place 12 paper cupcake cases on a tray or in a muffin tin and set aside.

Step 2

Break the milk chocolate into small pieces and add it to a heatproof bowl.

Step 3

Add the unsalted butter and golden syrup to the bowl with the chocolate.

Step 4

Melt the chocolate mixture using a double boiler method: Place the bowl over a saucepan of simmering water, making sure the bottom of the bowl does not touch the water. Stir frequently until the mixture is fully melted and smooth.

Alternatively, melt the mixture in the microwave in 20-30 second intervals, stirring after each, until fully combined and smooth.

Remove the bowl from the heat and allow the chocolate mixture to cool slightly for 1-2 minutes.
