Ingredients

  • 2 cups Corned beef (cooked and shredded)
  • 0.5 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Green onion (thinly sliced)
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 4 pieces Burger buns (or your preferred soft rolls)
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter (softened)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2

In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded corned beef, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, shredded cheddar cheese, green onion, garlic powder, and black pepper. Stir until well combined.

Step 3

Slice the burger buns in half and lightly butter the inside of each half with the softened butter.

Step 4

Lay the bottom halves of the buns on a baking sheet, cut side up. Spread an even amount of the corned beef mixture onto each bun bottom.

Step 5

Place the top halves of the buns on top of the filling to form sandwiches.

Step 6

Cover the sandwiches loosely with aluminum foil to prevent over-browning and bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the filling is warm.

Step 7

Remove the sandwiches from the oven, discard the foil, and let them rest for 2 minutes before serving.

Step 8

Serve hot with your favorite side dish, such as chips, a pickle, or a fresh salad.
