Ingredients

  • 1 cup Sweet corn kernels (frozen or fresh)
  • 1.5 cups Plain yogurt
  • 0.5 teaspoons Cumin powder
  • 1 small Green chili (finely chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves (finely chopped)
  • 0.5 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons Black pepper powder
  • 0.5 teaspoons Sugar (optional)

Directions

Step 1

If using fresh corn, boil the corn kernels in a small pot of water for 3-4 minutes until tender. If using frozen corn, run it under warm water to thaw or gently microwave for 1-2 minutes. Drain and set aside to cool.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, whisk the yogurt until smooth and creamy.

Step 3

Add the cumin powder, finely chopped green chili, salt, black pepper powder, and sugar (if using) to the yogurt. Mix well to combine.

Step 4

Stir in the cooked and cooled corn kernels.

Step 5

Garnish with chopped fresh coriander leaves and a pinch of additional cumin powder, if desired.
