Ingredients

  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons Cooking oil

Directions

Step 1

If using frozen corn, thaw it completely and pat it dry with a paper towel. If using fresh corn, remove kernels from the cob.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the corn kernels, all-purpose flour, bread crumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, egg, scallions, chopped cilantro, green chili (if using), ground cumin, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until a thick batter forms.
