Ingredients

  • 6 ears Fresh corn on the cob, husked
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh chives, chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.25 cup Water

Directions

Step 1

In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, chopped chives, salt, and black pepper until well combined. Set the garlic herb butter aside.

Step 2

Take each ear of corn and spread a generous amount of the garlic herb butter evenly over the surface. Wrap each buttered ear of corn tightly in aluminum foil.

Step 3

Add 1/4 cup of water to the bottom of your crock pot to create steam during cooking.

Step 4

Place the foil-wrapped ears of corn into the crock pot, stacking them evenly if necessary.

Step 5

Cover with the lid and cook on high heat for 2 hours, or until the corn is tender and cooked through.

Step 6

Carefully remove the corn from the crock pot using tongs, as it will be hot. Unwrap the foil and serve immediately, optionally brushing on extra garlic herb butter before serving.
