Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground turkey
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 0.25 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 medium yellow onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.5 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon paprika

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, milk, and egg. Mix gently but thoroughly to combine.

Step 3

Add the finely chopped onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, half of the ketchup (reserve the rest for the glaze), parsley (if using), salt, black pepper, and paprika to the bowl.

Step 4

Using clean hands or a spoon, mix everything together until well combined. Be careful not to overmix, as this can make the meatloaf dense.

Step 5

Transfer the mixture to your prepared loaf pan. Press it down evenly to shape it into a loaf.

Step 6

Spread the remaining ketchup evenly over the top of the meatloaf to create a glaze.

Step 7

Place the loaf pan in the oven and bake for 50-55 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

Step 8

Once cooked, remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.

Step 9

Serve warm with your favorite sides, such as mashed potatoes or a fresh green salad. Enjoy!
