Ingredients

  • 13.5 oz Coconut milk
  • 15 oz Coconut cream
  • 14 oz Sweetened condensed milk
  • 12 oz Evaporated milk
  • 1 cup White rum
  • 2 teaspoons Pure vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground nutmeg
  • 0.25 teaspoon Ground allspice
  • 2 Cinnamon sticks (optional for garnish)
  • 2 tablespoons Shredded coconut (optional garnish)

Directions

Step 1

In a blender, combine the coconut milk, coconut cream, sweetened condensed milk, and evaporated milk. Blend on high for 1-2 minutes until smooth and well incorporated.

Step 2

Add the white rum, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and ground allspice to the blender. Blend again for another minute to combine the flavors.

Step 3

Taste the mixture and adjust spices or rum to your liking. If you prefer a non-alcoholic version, simply omit the rum.

Step 4

Transfer the blended Coquito mixture into a glass jar or bottle with a tight-fitting lid. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or, ideally, overnight to allow the flavors to meld.

Step 5

Before serving, shake the jar well. Pour the Coquito into small glasses and garnish with a cinnamon stick and a sprinkle of shredded coconut, if desired.

Step 6

Serve chilled and enjoy this tropical holiday treat!
