  • 240 ml Whole milk
  • 1 packet (7g) Active dry yeast
  • 50 g Granulated sugar
  • 500 g All-purpose flour
  • 5 g Salt
  • 60 g Unsalted butter
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 liter Vegetable oil
  • 240 g Powdered sugar
  • 5 ml Vanilla extract
  • 60 ml Hot water

Directions

Step 1

Warm the milk until slightly warm to the touch. In a large bowl, sprinkle the yeast over the warm milk and let it sit for about 5 minutes, or until it becomes foamy.

Step 2

Add the sugar, eggs, and melted butter to the yeast mixture, and stir to combine.

Step 3

Mix together the flour and salt. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until a soft dough forms.

Step 4

Knead the dough for about 5-6 minutes until it is smooth and elastic. If the dough is too sticky, add a little more flour, one tablespoon at a time.
