In a large mixing bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and 1 tablespoon of sugar. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
Add the remaining sugar, eggs, melted butter, and salt to the yeast mixture. Mix until well combined.
Gradually add in the flour, mixing until a soft dough forms. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
