  • 1 head green cabbage
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour

  • 1.5 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 0.5 cups parmesan cheese, grated
  • 0.5 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoons salt
  • 0.5 teaspoons black pepper
  • 0.75 cups panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Core and chop the cabbage into bite-sized pieces. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and blanch the cabbage for 3-4 minutes until slightly tender. Drain and set aside.

In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Whisk in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes until golden and bubbly.
