  • 2 cups Water
  • 1 pound Ground turkey

  • 1 medium (peeled and diced) Carrot
  • 1 cup Frozen peas
  • 1 medium (diced) Onion
  • 3 cloves (minced) Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.5 cup Chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons (chopped) Fresh parsley

Directions

Step 1

Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear. In a medium-sized pot, combine the rice and water. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat to low, cover, and let it simmer for 15-20 minutes or until the rice is tender and water is absorbed. Fluff with a fork and set aside.
