Directions

Step 1

Wash the collard greens thoroughly under running water. Remove the tough stems and chop the greens into small, bite-sized pieces.

In a large skillet or saucepan, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon and set it aside on a paper towel-lined plate, leaving the rendered fat in the pan.
