  • 0.25 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon instant coffee granules (for glaze)
  • 2 tablespoons milk or brewed coffee (for glaze)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9x9-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.

In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, instant coffee granules, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, use an electric mixer to cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
