  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 cup Brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 cup Evaporated milk
  • 3 large Egg yolks
  • 1.5 teaspoons Vanilla extract
  • 1.33 cups Shredded sweetened coconut
  • 1 cup Pecans (chopped and toasted)

Directions

Step 1

In a medium saucepan, combine unsalted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, evaporated milk, and egg yolks.

Place the saucepan over medium heat and whisk continuously to combine the ingredients.
