  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh cilantro, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Using a sharp knife, slice the kernels off the ears of corn. Set aside 2 cups of the kernels and place the remaining 1 cup in a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth to create a corn puree.

In a large skillet, heat the unsalted butter over medium heat until melted and foamy.

Add the shallots and cook until soft and translucent, about 2-3 minutes. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 30 seconds until fragrant.
