Ingredients

  • 1 lb Lump crab meat
  • 8 oz Cream cheese
  • 1 cup Coconut milk
  • 0.5 cup Shredded unsweetened coconut
  • 0.5 cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp Fresh lime juice
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp Paprika
  • 0.5 tsp Red pepper flakes
  • 2 stalks Green onions (sliced thinly)
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Fresh cilantro (chopped, for garnish)
  • 1 bag Tortilla chips or crackers (for serving)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a medium-sized baking dish.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, coconut milk, mayonnaise, lime juice, garlic powder, paprika, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and well incorporated.

Step 3

Fold the lump crab meat and shredded unsweetened coconut into the mixture gently to avoid breaking up the crab too much.

Step 4

Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.

Step 5

Sprinkle the sliced green onions over the top of the dip for added flavor and presentation.

Step 6

Bake the dip in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until it is hot and bubbly around the edges.

Step 7

Remove the dip from the oven and garnish with freshly chopped cilantro before serving.

Step 8

Serve warm with tortilla chips, crackers, or vegetable sticks for dipping.
