Ingredients

  • 200 grams sweetened shredded coconut
  • 150 grams sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 100 grams semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon butter

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a mixing bowl, combine the sweetened shredded coconut, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla extract. Mix thoroughly until the ingredients are well incorporated and the mixture holds together.

Step 3

Using a tablespoon or small cookie scoop, portion the mixture into small mounds, about the size of a golf ball, and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Leave about 2 cm (1 inch) of space between each mound.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the tops are lightly golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool completely on the baking sheet.
