Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 10 ounces Mini marshmallows
  • 3 tablespoons Cocoa powder (unsweetened)
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 0.5 cups Semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with butter or non-stick cooking spray and set aside.

Step 2

In a large pot, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat.

Step 3

Once the butter is melted, add the mini marshmallows and stir constantly until fully melted and smooth.

Step 4

Reduce the heat to low, and stir in the cocoa powder and vanilla extract until well combined.

Remove the pot from heat and immediately fold in the Rice Krispies cereal, stirring gently until fully coated with the marshmallow mixture.
