  • 6 slices White or whole wheat sandwich bread
  • 4 slices Cooked turkey breast (sliced)
  • 4 slices Cooked ham (sliced)
  • 4 slices Cooked bacon
  • 2 leaves Lettuce leaves
  • 1 medium, sliced Tomato
  • 3 tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Butter (optional, for toasting)
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Preheat a skillet or toaster and toast all 6 slices of bread until golden brown. If desired, lightly butter one side of each slice before toasting.

Step 2

Spread mayonnaise evenly on one side of all 6 slices of toasted bread.

Step 3

Lay one slice of toasted bread (mayonnaise side up) on a cutting board. Layer on 2 slices of turkey breast, 1 lettuce leaf, and 2 tomato slices. Sprinkle a pinch of salt and pepper over the tomatoes.

Step 4

Place another slice of toasted bread on top (mayonnaise side down and spread more mayonnaise on the other side). Layer on 2 slices of ham and 2 slices of cooked bacon.

Step 5

Top the sandwich stack with the final slice of toasted bread, mayonnaise side down.

Step 6

Secure the sandwich with 4 toothpicks, evenly spaced near the corners of the sandwich. Using a sharp knife, cut the sandwich diagonally into quarters.

Repeat steps 3-6 for the second sandwich.
