Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1.5 teaspoons Baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted butter
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup Whole milk
  • 2 cups Powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract (for frosting)
  • 2 tablespoons Heavy cream

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 12-cup muffin tin with cupcake liners.

Step 2

In a medium bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.

In a large bowl, beat the unsalted butter and granulated sugar together with an electric mixer on medium-high speed until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
