Ingredients

  • 425 grams Pumpkin puree (canned or homemade)
  • 397 grams Sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 pieces Large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons Ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Ground ginger
  • 0.5 teaspoons Ground nutmeg
  • 0.5 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 piece Pre-made pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup Whipped cream (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

Step 2

In a medium bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, sweetened condensed milk, and eggs. Mix until smooth.

Step 3

Add the cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and salt. Stir until the spices are evenly distributed throughout the mixture.

Step 4

Roll out the pre-made pie crust if it isn't already shaped. Place it into a 9-inch pie dish and press it gently into the corners.

Step 5

Pour the pumpkin filling into the pie crust, spreading it out evenly with a spatula.

Step 6

Place the pie in the oven and bake for 15 minutes. Then, reduce the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C) and bake for an additional 40 minutes, or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.

Step 7

Remove the pie from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack for at least 2 hours. This allows the filling to fully set.

Step 8

Slice and serve as is, or top with whipped cream for an extra festive touch.
