Ingredients

  • 4 cups cooked long-grain white rice
  • 1 pound pork loin
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 onion
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 2 stalks green onions
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt

Directions

Step 1

Start by preparing your ingredients: finely chop the garlic, dice the onion and carrot, slice the green onions, and cut the pork loin into small bite-sized pieces. Set aside.

Step 2

In a small bowl, beat the eggs and set them aside.

Step 3

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large non-stick skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the beaten eggs and scramble until just set. Remove the eggs from the pan and set aside.

Step 4

In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil, then add the chopped garlic and diced onion. Stir-fry for about 1-2 minutes until the onion becomes translucent.

Step 5

Add the diced carrot to the skillet and stir-fry for another 2 minutes, followed by adding the pork pieces. Stir-fry the pork until it is cooked through, around 3-4 minutes.

Step 6

Once the pork is cooked, add the frozen peas to the skillet and stir to combine. Cook for an additional minute.

Step 7

Add the cold cooked rice to the skillet, breaking up any clumps with a spatula. Stir-fry the rice with the pork and vegetables for about 2 minutes, ensuring everything is well combined.

Step 8

Pour the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil over the rice mixture and stir well, cooking for another minute to allow the flavors to meld together.

Step 9

Add the scrambled eggs back into the skillet, along with half of the chopped green onions, stirring gently to combine all the ingredients.

Step 10

Season the fried rice with salt and black pepper, adjusting to taste.

Step 11

Remove the skillet from the heat and sprinkle the remaining green onions on top.

Step 12

Serve the pork fried rice hot and enjoy your delicious homemade meal!
