Ingredients

  • 300 grams tortilla chips
  • 200 grams cheddar cheese, grated
  • 3 large roma tomatoes
  • 0.5 medium red onion
  • 0.5 bunch fresh cilantro
  • 1 small jalapeño pepper
  • 1 medium lime
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 170 grams black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 2 stalks green onions

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F).

Step 2

Spread the tortilla chips evenly over a large baking sheet.

Step 3

Sprinkle the grated cheddar cheese evenly over the tortilla chips.

Step 4

Drain and evenly sprinkle black beans over the cheese-covered chips.

Step 5

Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

While the nachos are baking, finely dice the roma tomatoes and place them in a medium-sized bowl.
