Ingredients

  • 2 slices Crusty Italian bread or ciabatta
  • 4 slices Mortadella
  • 2 slices Provolone cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 tablespoon Mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 handful Arugula or lettuce
  • 2 slices Tomato
  • 1 teaspoon Olive oil
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Preheat a skillet over medium heat.

Step 2

Spread butter evenly on one side of each bread slice.

Step 3

Place both slices of bread, buttered side down, onto the skillet.

On one slice of bread, layer the mortadella and provolone cheese.
