  • 2 pounds Ground beef (80% lean)
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 0.75 cup Milk
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 medium Onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 0.5 cup Ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Dried parsley
  • 0.5 cup Ketchup (for glaze)
  • 2 tablespoons Brown sugar (for glaze)
  • 1 teaspoon Apple cider vinegar (for glaze)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, eggs, onion, garlic, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, and dried parsley. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overmix as this can make the meat loaf dense.

Step 3

Transfer the meat mixture to the prepared loaf pan. Press it in gently to ensure it's evenly distributed, but do not pack it down too tightly.
