Ingredients

  • 2 slices Sliced whole-grain bread
  • 3 ounces Sliced ham
  • 2 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Mayonnaise
  • 1 leaf Lettuce
  • 2 slices Tomato

Directions

Step 1

Spread half a tablespoon of butter on one side of each slice of bread.

Step 2

Place one slice of bread, buttered side down, on a clean cutting board or plate.

Step 3

Spread Dijon mustard over the unbuttered side of the bread.

Step 4

Lay the sliced ham evenly over the mustard-covered bread slice.

Place the slices of Swiss cheese on top of the ham.

Spread mayonnaise on the unbuttered side of the other slice of bread.
