Ingredients

  • 4 pieces fresh croissants
  • 8 slices sliced ham
  • 4 slices sliced Swiss cheese
  • 4 leaves lettuce leaves
  • 1 large tomato
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 0 to taste salt
  • 0 to taste black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Slice each croissant horizontally with a sharp bread knife and set them aside.

Step 2

Thinly slice the tomato into even rounds and set aside.

In a skillet over medium heat, add half of the butter. Once melted, add the sliced ham and cook for 2 minutes on each side until warmed through and slightly browned. Remove from skillet and keep warm.
