Ingredients

  • 1 pound kielbasa sausage
  • 1 medium head cabbage
  • 6 medium red potatoes
  • 4 large carrots
  • 1 large yellow onion
  • 3 cloves garlic cloves
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 whole bay leaf

Directions

Step 1

Slice the kielbasa sausage into 1/2-inch thick rounds and set aside.

Step 2

Cut the cabbage into wedges, core removed, and set aside.

Step 3

Scrub the red potatoes and slice them into quarters.

Step 4

Peel the carrots and cut them into 2-inch pieces.

Step 5

Peel and slice the onion into thin rounds.

Peel and mince the garlic cloves.
