Ingredients

  • 6 cups green cabbage
  • 2 medium carrots
  • 0.5 medium red onion
  • 0.75 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 0.5 teaspoon celery seeds
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Begin by preparing the vegetables. Thinly slice 6 cups of green cabbage and place it in a large mixing bowl.

Step 2

Peel and grate the 2 medium carrots, then add them to the bowl with the cabbage.

Step 3

Finely slice half of a medium red onion and combine with the cabbage and carrots.

In a separate small bowl, prepare the dressing. Whisk together 0.75 cup of mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, and 2 tablespoons of sugar, until well combined.

Step 5

Add 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard, 0.5 teaspoon of celery seeds, 0.5 teaspoon of salt, and 0.25 teaspoon of black pepper to the dressing. Whisk until smooth.

Step 6

Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture. Toss thoroughly to ensure all vegetables are well coated.
