Ingredients

  • 500 g Ground beef
  • 1 medium, finely chopped Onion
  • 2 finely minced Garlic cloves
  • 100 g Breadcrumbs
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 0.5 teaspoon Chili powder
  • 4 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • 50 g All-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons Milk

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, salt, black pepper, dried oregano, and chili powder.

Step 2

Mix all the ingredients thoroughly using your hands or a spatula until well combined and the mixture is slightly sticky.

Step 3

Divide the beef mixture into 8 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, about 1/2 inch thick.

Step 4

Place the all-purpose flour on a plate. In another shallow bowl, mix the milk with a pinch of salt.

Step 5

Heat the vegetable oil in a large frying pan over medium heat.

Step 6

Dredge each beef patty in the flour, shake off excess, then dip into the milk mixture, ensuring they are well coated.

Step 7

Carefully place the patties in the hot oil and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

Step 8

Remove the patties from the pan and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.

Step 9

Serve the beef cutlets hot with your choice of sides or dipping sauce.
