Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Bacon strips
  • 2 pieces Large eggs
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Butter

Directions

Step 1

1. Preheat a non-stick frying pan over medium heat. No oil is needed as the bacon will release its own fat.

Step 2

2. Place the bacon strips in the pan without overlapping. Cook for about 3-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired crispness.

Step 3

3. Once cooked, remove the bacon from the pan and place on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess fat.

Step 4

4. Carefully drain most of the bacon fat from the pan into a heatproof container, leaving just a thin layer in the pan.

Step 5

5. With the pan still on medium heat, add 1 tablespoon of butter and allow it to melt.

Step 6

6. Crack the eggs into the pan being careful not to break the yolks. If needed, crack each egg into a small bowl first to ensure the yolk remains intact.

Step 7

7. Cook the eggs for about 2-3 minutes for sunny-side-up eggs until the whites are completely set but the yolks are still runny.

Step 8

8. Season the eggs with a pinch of salt and black pepper to taste.

Step 9

9. Serve the eggs immediately along with the crispy bacon on a plate. Enjoy your delightful breakfast.
