Ingredients

  • 4 cups Water
  • 1 whole Orange
  • 1 whole Lemon
  • 1 whole Lime
  • 2 tablespoons Dried chamomile flowers
  • 1 tablespoon Dried hibiscus petals
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 5 leaves Fresh mint leaves
  • 1 stick Cinnamon stick

Directions

Step 1

Wash the orange, lemon, and lime thoroughly under running water to remove any dirt or residue.

Step 2

Using a sharp knife, slice the orange, lemon, and lime into thin rounds, discarding the ends.

Step 3

In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a gentle boil over medium heat.

Step 4

Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and add the sliced citrus fruits, dried chamomile flowers, dried hibiscus petals, and the cinnamon stick to the saucepan.

Step 5

Simmer the mixture gently for about 5–7 minutes, allowing the flavors to infuse into the water.

Step 6

Turn off the heat and add the fresh mint leaves. Let the tea steep for an additional 2–3 minutes.

Step 7

Using a fine-mesh strainer, carefully strain the tea into a teapot or heatproof pitcher to remove the solids.

Step 8

Stir in the honey to sweeten the tea according to your taste.

Step 9

Pour the tea into cups and serve warm, or allow it to cool and pour over ice for a chilled version.
