Ingredients

  • 240 grams all-purpose flour
  • 170 grams unsalted butter (cold, cubed)
  • 50 grams granulated sugar
  • 120 milliliters whole milk
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 60 grams brown sugar
  • 4 tablespoons melted unsalted butter

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, granulated sugar, and salt.

Add the cold, cubed butter to the dry mixture. Using a pastry cutter or your fingers, cut the butter into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
