  • 6 pieces flour tortillas
  • 100 grams sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 500 milliliters vegetable oil

Step 1

Cut each flour tortilla into 6-8 triangular pieces using a knife or pizza cutter.

In a small bowl, mix together the sugar and ground cinnamon. Set aside.

Heat the vegetable oil in a deep skillet or heavy-bottomed pot over medium heat. The oil should reach a temperature of 350°F (175°C). Test by dropping a small piece of tortilla into the oil—it should sizzle immediately.
