Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups Water
  • 2 pieces Black tea bags
  • 1 cup Whole milk (or any milk of choice)
  • 1 piece Cinnamon stick
  • 0.25 teaspoons Ground cinnamon
  • 0.25 teaspoons Ground cardamom
  • 0.25 teaspoons Ground ginger
  • 0.125 teaspoons Ground cloves
  • 0.5 teaspoons Vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons Honey or maple syrup
  • 1 serving Whipped cream (optional)

Directions

Step 1

In a small saucepan, bring 1.5 cups of water to a boil over medium heat.

Step 2

Once the water is boiling, reduce the heat to low, and add the black tea bags, cinnamon stick, ground cinnamon, ground cardamom, ground ginger, and ground cloves.

Step 3

Simmer the mixture for 5 minutes to allow the spices to infuse.

Stir in the milk and allow the mixture to heat through, but do not let it boil. This will take about 2-3 minutes.
