Ingredients

  • 1 pound Pizza dough
  • 2 cups Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 25 pieces Pepperoni slices
  • 6 slices Ham slices
  • 6 slices Provolone cheese, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 tablespoon Water
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Marinara sauce (for dipping, optional)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a large rectangle, approximately 10x14 inches.

Step 3

Spread the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the dough, leaving about a 1-inch border around the edges.

Step 4

Layer the pepperoni slices, ham slices, and provolone cheese on top of the mozzarella.

Step 5

Sprinkle the chopped parsley evenly over the top of the fillings.

Step 6

Carefully roll the dough lengthwise into a tight log, tucking in the ends as you roll to seal all the fillings inside.

Step 7

Place the rolled Stromboli seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.

Step 8

In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and water to make an egg wash. Brush the mixture over the surface of the Stromboli.

Step 9

Sprinkle the garlic powder, dried oregano, and salt evenly over the top of the Stromboli to season it.

Step 10

Using a sharp knife, make 4-5 small slits along the top of the Stromboli to allow steam to escape.

Step 11

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and fully cooked.

Step 12

Remove from the oven and let it cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing into thick pieces.

Step 13

Serve warm with marinara sauce on the side for dipping, if desired.
