Ingredients

  • 120 grams Unsalted butter
  • 100 grams Granulated sugar
  • 50 grams Brown sugar
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Pure vanilla extract
  • 180 grams All-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoons Baking soda
  • 0.25 teaspoons Salt
  • 100 grams Mini chocolate chips
  • 100 grams Toffee bits

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Beat together with an electric mixer on medium speed until light and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.

Step 3

Add the egg and vanilla extract to the mixture, then beat again until fully combined.

Step 4

In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.

Step 5

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing on low speed until a dough forms.

Step 6

Fold in the mini chocolate chips and toffee bits using a spatula, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the dough.

Step 7

Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of the dough and roll them into balls. Place them on the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 5cm apart to allow for spreading.

Step 8

Gently flatten each dough ball slightly with your hand or the back of a spoon.

Step 9

Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. The centers may appear slightly soft, but they will firm up as they cool.

Step 10

Allow the biscuits to cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Step 11

Serve and enjoy your delicious Chocolate Toffee Biscuits, perfectly paired with a glass of milk or your favorite hot beverage!
