  • 0.5 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 cup Unsalted butter (softened)
  • 2 cups Granulated sugar
  • 4 Large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Whole milk
  • 0.75 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C), and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan. You can also line it with parchment paper for easier removal.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt, and set aside.

Step 3

In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened unsalted butter and granulated sugar together using an electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy (about 3 minutes).

Add the large eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract until combined.

Reduce the mixer speed to low and alternate adding the dry flour mixture and the whole milk to the wet ingredients, starting and ending with the dry mix. Beat just until combined—do not overmix.
