Ingredients

  • 25 pieces Chocolate sandwich cookies (for crust)
  • 6 tablespoons Unsalted butter (melted, for crust)
  • 0.5 cups Granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 8 ounces Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 10 tablespoons Unsalted butter (cubed, for filling)
  • 4 large Eggs (pasteurized)
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1.25 cups Heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons Powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Grated chocolate (for garnish, optional)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a food processor, crush the chocolate sandwich cookies into fine crumbs. Pour the crumbs into a mixing bowl.

Add 6 tablespoons of melted butter to the cookie crumbs and mix well until the crumbs are evenly coated.

Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish to form the crust.
