  • 200 grams Digestive or tea biscuits
  • 50 grams Chopped nuts (e.g., hazelnuts, almonds, or pistachios, optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons Rum or orange liqueur (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Directions

Step 1

Place the dark chocolate and unsalted butter in a heatproof bowl. Melt them together using a double boiler or microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Let the mixture cool slightly.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the granulated sugar, unsweetened cocoa powder, and vanilla extract. Stir in the melted chocolate-butter mixture until well combined.
