Ingredients

  • 250 milliliters Heavy cream
  • 30 grams Unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons Dark rum
  • 2 large Egg yolks
  • 2 tablespoons Granulated sugar
  • 1 pinch Sea salt
  • 0 Whipped cream (optional, for topping)
  • 0 Shaved chocolate (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Chop the dark chocolate finely and place it in a heatproof bowl.

Step 2

In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it just starts to simmer. Do not let it boil.

Pour the hot cream over the chopped chocolate. Let it sit for 2 minutes, then stir gently until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
