Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 300 grams Mini marshmallows
  • 2 tablespoons Cocoa powder
  • 150 grams Milk chocolate, chopped
  • 6 cups Rice cereal
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.25 teaspoons Salt
  • 100 grams Dark chocolate, melted (optional, for topping)

Directions

Step 1

Grease and line an 8x8-inch (20x20 cm) baking dish with parchment paper, leaving a slight overhang for easy removal. Set aside.

Step 2

In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter until fully liquefied.

Step 3

Add the mini marshmallows to the saucepan and stir constantly until melted and smooth.

Step 4

Lower the heat and stir in the cocoa powder, chopped milk chocolate, vanilla extract, and salt until well incorporated. The mixture should be glossy and evenly combined.

Step 5

Remove the saucepan from heat and quickly fold in the rice cereal using a rubber spatula until every piece is evenly coated with the chocolate-marshmallow mixture.
