Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
  • 0.5 cup natural peanut butter
  • 0.33 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder (unsweetened)
  • 0.25 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon water (optional, if needed)

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, chocolate protein powder, cocoa powder, chia seeds, and a pinch of salt. Stir until well mixed.

Step 2

Add the peanut butter, honey, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix thoroughly with a spatula or clean hands until a sticky dough forms.

Step 3

Fold in the dark chocolate chips to evenly distribute them throughout the mixture.

Step 4

If the mixture feels too dry to form balls, add 1 tablespoon of water at a time until the desired consistency is reached.

Step 5

Using clean hands, roll the dough into small balls about the size of a golf ball. You should get approximately 12 balls.

Step 6

Place the chocolate protein balls on a baking sheet or plate lined with parchment paper.

Step 7

Refrigerate the protein balls for at least 30 minutes to firm up before serving.

Step 8

Store the protein balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week, or freeze them for up to 1 month.
