Ingredients

  • 200 grams dark chocolate
  • 125 grams unsalted butter
  • 200 grams granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 100 grams all-purpose flour
  • 30 grams unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 0.5 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 120 grams orange marmalade
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease and line an 8x8-inch (20x20cm) baking pan with parchment paper.

Step 2

Melt the dark chocolate and unsalted butter together in a heatproof bowl over a pot of simmering water, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

Step 3

In a mixing bowl, whisk the granulated sugar and eggs together until the mixture is thick and pale.

Step 4

Slowly pour the melted chocolate and butter mixture into the egg mixture while whisking constantly to combine.

Step 5

Stir in the vanilla extract and orange zest.
