Ingredients

  • 8 oz Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 3 tbsp Smucker's Orange Marmalade
  • 1 tbsp Orange zest
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1 cup Butter cookies (crushed)
  • 0.5 cup Cocoa powder
  • 0.25 cup Powdered sugar

Directions

Step 1

In a medium saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium-low heat until it begins to simmer but does not boil.

Step 2

Remove the saucepan from heat and add the semi-sweet chocolate chips. Stir until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.

Step 3

Stir in Smucker's Orange Marmalade, orange zest, vanilla extract, and butter. Mix until fully incorporated and smooth.

Step 4

Allow the chocolate mixture to cool slightly, then cover and refrigerate the mixture for about 2 hours, or until firm enough to scoop.

Step 5

Once the mixture is chilled, use a small cookie scoop or spoon to portion out small balls of the chocolate mixture.

Step 6

Press a pinch of the crushed butter cookies into each truffle and gently roll them between your palms to form round shapes.

Step 7

In a small bowl, mix the cocoa powder and powdered sugar together.

Step 8

Roll each truffle in the cocoa-powdered sugar mixture until evenly coated.

Step 9

Place the finished truffles on a parchment-lined tray. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set.

Step 10

Serve chilled or at room temperature, and store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
