Ingredients

  • 175 grams Unsalted butter
  • 200 grams Dark chocolate (70% cocoa)
  • 250 grams Granulated sugar
  • 100 grams Brown sugar
  • 3 pieces Large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 125 grams All-purpose flour
  • 30 grams Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 100 grams Dark chocolate chips or chunks

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease a 20cm (8-inch) square baking pan and line it with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.

In a heatproof bowl, melt the unsalted butter and dark chocolate together over a pot of simmering water (double boiler method) or in the microwave in short 20-second increments, stirring until smooth. Set aside to cool slightly.
