  • 16 sheets Phyllo dough
  • 2 cups Hazelnuts, toasted and chopped

  • 1 quarter cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 quarter cup Water
  • 2 tablespoons Dark chocolate, melted (for drizzle)
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with butter.

Step 2

In a medium bowl, mix the chopped hazelnuts, chopped chocolate, and ground cinnamon.

Carefully lay one sheet of phyllo dough into the prepared baking dish. Brush it generously with melted butter using a pastry brush. Repeat this process, layering and buttering eight sheets of phyllo dough, one at a time.
