Ingredients

  • 300 grams Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 60 grams Unsalted butter
  • 3 tablespoons Honey
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 4 cups Crispy rice cereal
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 cup Mini marshmallows (optional)
  • 3 tablespoons Sprinkles or chopped nuts (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Line a square 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on two sides for easy lifting later.

Step 2

In a heatproof bowl, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips, unsalted butter, and honey.

Step 3

Place the bowl over a pot of simmering water (double boiler method) and stir until the chocolate and butter are completely melted and the mixture is smooth.

Step 4

Remove the bowl from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.

Step 5

Add the crispy rice cereal and gently fold it into the chocolate mixture until evenly coated. If using mini marshmallows, fold them in at this stage.

Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking pan and spread it out evenly, pressing gently with a spatula to level the top.
