  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour

  • 0.33 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 0.33 cup granulated sugar (for filling)
  • 0.5 cup mini chocolate chips

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 12-cup muffin tin with paper liners.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.

Add the water, vegetable oil, vinegar, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Stir until combined and smooth. The batter will be thin.

In a separate medium bowl, beat the cream cheese, egg, and 1/3 cup granulated sugar until smooth and creamy.
