Directions

Step 1

In a large bowl, mix 2 cups of flour, granulated sugar, salt, and yeast until combined.

In a small saucepan, heat milk and butter over medium heat until the butter melts and the mixture is warm (not hot, around 110°F).

Add the warm milk mixture to the flour mixture and stir until combined. Beat in the egg.
